I got an message yesterday through ArtFire from Laura at SRAJD (Self Representing Artist Jewelry Designers) She asked me if I would like to be featured in the monthly showcase on their website. I am truly honored that she liked my creations enough to want to feature them. I've only been on ArtFire for a coulple of weeks, I just set the account up on the 22nd of January!
Months ago I tried to become a member of SRAJD and they weren't taking applications at the time, then out of the blue I get this message:
I run an advertising website for SRA jewelry designers and each month I like to add in a few of my own personal favorites.
I asked her what made her pick me...
"Each month I like to pick one or two artists whose work I personally admire. I don't have too much rhyme or reason to some of my tastes, but if the jewelry is eye-appealing and the photos are done well that's usually a great start. :-) Thanks again! Laura
